66 Years Old Woman Dies While Chasing Her Dog Along M4

A lady was murdered in the wake of being run over while pursuing her dog along the M4.

The 66-year-old, who has not been named, was struck by a Portage Travel van along the carriageway close to Cardiff after her dog got away from her auto.

The M4 was shut for five hours on one of the busiest Fridays of the year, with numerous drivers hoping to escape for Easter.

The lady kept running on to the bustling motorway after her puppy hopped out of the back of her Volkswagen Golf around 18.20 on Friday evening.

She was hit by a Passage Travel Van while attempting to convey her canine to heel and was articulated dead at the scene between intersections 29 and 32.

South Wales Police say they are searching for observers to approach.

A police representative stated: ‘A puppy having a place with a female driver of a white Volkswagen Golf vehicle is accepted to have entered the carriageway took after by the driver of the Volkswagen Golf vehicle.

‘A Portage Travel vehicle has crashed into the 66-year-old female who was articulated perished at the scene.

‘A police family liaison officer has been designated and is supporting the closest relative.

‘The motorway was shut for roughly five hours while Police completed beginning examinations and recouped the vehicles.

‘South Grains Police might want to thank the general population influenced by the conclusion for their understanding and comprehension.

‘South Ribs Police might want to talk with any observers to the crash or any individual who saw the canine running into the street before the impact.’
