When Drake’s album ‘Nothing Was The Same’ leaked across the Internet, Jhené Aiko became one of the most exciting female vocal discoveries for music lovers the world over. Featuring on standout track ‘From Time’, Jhené captivated fans with her effortless, emotionally charged lyrics and their ability to capture the soul within. She then went on to support Drake on his ‘Would You Like A Tour’ and performed ‘From Time’ on Saturday Night Live alongside Drake.
Debut mix-tape ‘Sailing Souls’ was released in 2011 and featured the incredible talents of Drake, Kanye West, Miguel and Kendrick Lamar. The singer-songwriter also featured on Big Sean’s single alongside Lil Wayne, ‘Beware’.
Jhené has had three platinum singles to date with ‘Bed Peace’, ‘The Worst’ and ‘Drunk Texting’, (her collaboration with Chris Brown). Her track ‘Post to Be’ – Omarion featuring Jhené and Chris Brown sold 3 million units and was a No.1 single in 2015. The same year Jhené was also nominated for three Grammy Awards.
