MYX QUEST RELEASES NEW ALBUM ‘ESCAPE FROM THE HARD DRIVE’.
After a string of singles, accomplished West London based Record Producer, Writer and Musician Myx Quest is finally set to release the full body of work entitled Escape From The Hard Drive. Record Producer, Writer and Musician Myx Quest is finally set to release the full body of work entitled Escape From The Hard Drive.
The album, which was produced and cowritten by Myx is broadly mid tempo and touches on various related genres including R&B, Neo Soul, Gospel, AfroHip Hop with a hint of Pop.
Accompanying the array of genres are a selection of popular and talented artists from UK, Ghana, USA and Nigeria including Yaa Pono, Irene Logan, Zalon and Jayso to name a few.
Previous singles from the project were all well received and supported by specialist radio, including Hopeless Situation (featuring Haidara) which was supported by radio stations including Capital Xtra, MiSoul, Westside, OnTop FM and Pulse 88.0 FM where it peaked at No.1 on Pulse FM presenter Neha’s RnB Chart in 2016. This led to live interviews on Pulse FM (London), Time FM (Essex), Radio Cardiff and airplay across the Midlands to Newcastle and Belfast.
After taking a number of years away from production to focus on artist management, penning various Major Labels and Publishing deals for artists, Quest is fully back in Producer / Writer mode and has already been in the studio working on brand new materials with the likes of Incisive and J Appiah for his next project. He is currently at University studying Composing, Orchestration and Conducting so let’s see how this influences his future sounds and projects.
The single leading the release of the album is Touch Down featuring South London rapper Neekz with North West London RnB singer Jai Amore and is already building momentum currently at No.4 in the Pulse FM R&B chart.
The official release date for the album is 170217 and will be available worldwide independently via Quest’s label Qirv Music on all major digital platforms.
