Melanie Taylor is an award-winning indie pop artist born and raised in San Diego, CA. She is a seasoned performer and highly versatile artist, having played shows in almost all of Los Angeles’s notable venues.
Her debut album “All About Today” donned the singles “Cease Fire” and “Walk of Shame,” which were played on the international radio, and ranked top 50 on national indie radio charts. “Money,” the first single off her current album, and “Inta My Heart,” which was released under the leading Swedish dance label Clubstream, have garnered hundreds of thousands of views on Youtube since their release. “Ink,” her latest single now has 50,000+ streams on Spotify and is the first of a string of singles she’s releasing in 2018 to highlight her edgier alternative direction.
Her music has attracted the attention of Pandora, as well as many popular music blogs such as Hype Machine, Pop Dust, and Vents Magazine. Melanie is also singing the title track “I Want That Smoke” in the Russell Peter’s comedy “Ripped.”
Additionally, her single “Dizzy” was the official theme song for CES 2017, the world’s largest trade show. She and her band performed live in Las Vegas before the keynote address speech and throughout CES in the Gibson Guitar tent. Her self-titled sophomore album was released this past fall and is available everywhere online.
