Omar Wilson Releases A New Single ‘The Groove’

Omar Wilson, BSE Recordings R&B crooner releases a new single titled “The Groove“.
THE GROOVE is an old-school two-step dance track mixed with today’s R&B that tells the story of a man who met a girl at a club and is determined to make her the love of his life.
OMAR WILSON (also known as The Black Sinatra), was nominated for the 2019 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding New Artist and in 2018, Omar Wilson reached the #1 spot on the Amazon.com R&B Charts with his rendition of the classic, “It’s A Man’s World“, maintaining the position for third consecutive weeks.
Omar Wilson also made his Essence Music Festival debut in 2018 to rave reviews.
As a result of his hard work and accomplishments, he is ready to ready to grab 2020 by the horns and do what he does best, perform.
In the coming weeks, he will be embarking on “The Groove Promotional Tour” in support of his new single and cities include; Chicago, Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York, Atlanta, Memphis, Detroit, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Dallas, and Houston, just to name a few.
Omar Wilson is no stranger to the music scene and has been performing in NYC and CT clubs for over a decade. He’s opened for artists like Boys II Men and The Neville Brothers.
Growing up in Norwalk CT Omar’s influences included Sam Cooke, Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Lauren Hill, Mary J Blige, and old-time soul acts like the Delfonics.
His music speaks to his own personal experiences growing up in an urban environment bridging the gap between Hip Hop and Soul.
